Alliance Interinstitutional Platforms + HighTech Program
A key focus of the Alliance is the establishment and development of shared technology and technology platforms that provide access to unique infrastructure for advanced technical analyses, data evaluation, and highly specialized expertise. To support this, the Alliance funds the acquisition of high-end equipment, ensuring state-of-the-art technologies and services. Alliance platforms are open to all members of the Alliance institutions.
Application to the Alliance HighTech Program
The Health + Life Science Alliance enables interinstitutional platform and technology
development, the joint usage of technologies, and transfer of research and knowledge results.
In particular, the Alliance is accepting applications
(1) for the development of self-driving labs (co-scientist approaches, i.e., the physical integration of AI and automated hardware and AI software-based assistance for experimentation),
(2) for the development of demonstrators for prototyping and knowledge transfer, and
(3) for the further structural development of Alliance-supported joint platforms (Multi Space, Mircofluidics, Organoid Platform).
Application is open to Members of Alliance institutions in Heidelberg and Mannheim only.
Apply by February 27, 2026, 5 pm (CET). Application information was distributed via the internal newsletter and via all Alliance institutions.
