EMBL PhD Symposium: Biology outside the box
The more you know, the more you realise you don’t know. Still, we continuously try to tap into the not-yet-known. Sometimes tiptoeing on safe paths, at other times leaving everything behind. Let us take a leap into the unknown and explore what lies beyond the conventional in “Biology outside the box”. We will be reaching in four directions to discover what is happening in molecular biology beyond conventional methods, which organisms are in the focus of research beyond mouse, drosophila, and E.coli, where do new ideas lead us and how do they bring us beyond our existing dogmas, and even further beyond the limits of our planet.
