Quantitative molecular analyses of the tissue using spatially-resolved Multi-Omics-techniques provide completely new insights into cellular functions in health and disease, and into the cellular response to environmental influences and drug treatment. However, there is currently a lack of interdisciplinary platforms for using spatially-resolved omics-technologies in the form of robust, scalable analysis methods in pre- and clinical research.
